Mezzo-soprano Simone McIntosh (Canada, 1991) performs ‘Ah scostati! … Smanie implacabili’ from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s opera Così fan tutte; ‘Morgen’ from Richard Strauss’s 4 Lieder, Op. 27; and ‘ Dieu! Que viens-je d’entendre?’ from Hector Berlioz’s opera Béatrice et Bénédict, during the semi-finals of the Aria division of the Concours musical international de Montréal 2022 (CMIM). She is accompanied by the Montreal Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Jacques Lacombe. This performance was recorded at the Montreal Symphony House.
